Health Centres of Trinidad and Tobago are functional for the sole purpose of serving you, the citizens. Health Centres are clean, spacious, and comfortable with friendly staff, ready and available to help you through this important and emotional period. In an effort to better equip expectant and new mothers, the kind nurses at every Health Centre give health education talks every week at the beginning of each respective clinic.

POST NATAL
For new mothers, the period after the birth of your baby can be just as unfamiliar as your pregnancy. This is understood; again you will have questions and concerns. All of your fears and worries can be addressed at
the health centre. The nurses are always willing to give you the best clinical advice regarding the care of
your baby and yourself.

Post Natal Care extends throughout the age of 0 – 5 years. During this period the baby undergoes regular check ups at the Health Centre to ensure proper growth and development. Vaccinations are also administered during this time.
All information showcased here is standard across Health Centres throughout Trinidad and Tobago. These facilities differ only in their respective clinic schedules. The Ministry of Health has these facilities in place free of charge especially for its citizens. Understandably, pregnancy is such a time where a vast amount of care and support is necessary. Below is a list and clinic schedule specific to expecting and new mothers for just a few Health Centres located along the Eastern Main Road, from Arima to Mount Hope. Please choose one closest to your residence and do attend the clinic, necessary resources are available and within your reach.
